I have finally gotten around to starting a line of how to DVD’s. I am working with a professional firm here in Frederick to make them and so far so good. We have shot about ten and two are finished and easy and I will be releasing new DVD’s about once a month. Each video is creates the feeling like you are in a personal on-on-one workshop. Each video is about 20-28 minutes in length and are broken down into chapters for each step of the technique. I make sure to go over the products used in depth as well as each step of the process. We are shooting them in HD and using wide screen and standard screen format, you get to choose the format at the beginning on the opening menu. I hope you enjoy them, I feel that they are great, they are not filled with silly animations or sound effects, they get to the point and do not bore you.
We have a edited down preview of what the videos feel like and its on the website at http://www.thefauxschool.com/fauxpaintingvideo.htm. The actual DVDs are more in-depth, this example is to let you see the quality of the sounds and angles of the camera as well as the quality
I recieved my Vert Dmere marble the other day and it was great. You make it look so easy, I look forward to buying more soon
