Sky murals

For the last two years my brother and I have been working on several ceilings for a client that owns casinos, resorts and hotels. He contacted me to see if I would be interested in painting clouds on a ceiling in a hotel lobby, then he decided to paint a lot of ceilings. Here are a few images of some the ceilings. All I used for these ceilings is Sherwin Williams Pro Mar 200, flat latex paint and a few colors that only took a couple of months figure out. A question I get a lot about clouds is "What colors do you use" answer, depends. Here are a few things to consider, ceilings height, type of light, type of diffusers and type of clouds. Most of the ceilings in these images are at least 20 feet from the ground with an optimal viewing perspective of 5foot 10 inches.
